Fines for Failing to Comply

Beginning on July 1st, 2021, if a new, renewed or varied contract is signed on a Roys Hill rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance items need to be done by the end of 90 days.

From the 1st of July in 2021, when a new, renewed or varied Tenancy is signed for a Roys Hill rental property, all Healthy Homes compliance work must be taken care of within 90 days.

Roys Hill Healthy Homes Compliance Timeframes

Tenancies that were signed beginning on 1 July 2019 to 30 June 2021

  • The insulation of the ceiling and underfloor is mandatory for all Roys Hill and New Zealand rental homes where it’s reasonably practicable to install.
